Placement Season - My Experience

Image
I am a student of IT Engineering who recently grabbed a placement with a good enough package, Writing this blog to share my thoughts on placement season as a whole. What were my preconceptions and what it actually is? The first step into college began with ambitions of bagging a good package, I was always too anxious about placements. being the eldest boy in the family who made it to college paying heavy fees I used to carry that burden of responsibility. I was sincere from the beginning although I would admit I wasn't in the first semester but took over later. semesters by semesters passed and now I am in the 7th semester writing this blog. Placements are an important time of anybody's educational journey. We went all the way to junior kg, senior kg, 1st standard, 10th, 12th science, JEE, CET and then finally 4 years of engineering it was all for a good job and a good package. But the reality is often disappointing we see, I find placements are more of a function of luck than

What is the purpose of life? Why do we exist      - sadguru I know at some point in your life you must have thought about it. But, every time you think, gets to an opinion, and you will leave the topic, isn't it? So, today let us come to a collective conclusion with me. Isn't it fantastic that you have no purpose, nothing to fulfil, you can just keep going with your life? But, we try to find purpose, not even a purpose the 'God-given purpose' , but on the contrary, the people who think they have a god-given purpose are doing the cruellest thing on the planet, isn't it? because when you have 'god-given purpose' life here becomes less important than your purpose. No, but the life is important, and when we say life it isn't your friends, family, what you do, what we do not do, your party, when we say life we point within us, the very sense of your existence is life, what you are is life. Life isn't someth

How to Speak so that People want to Listen

The human voice, it's the instrument we all play. It's the most powerful sound in the world, probably It's the only one that can start a war or say "I Love You." and yet many people have the experience that when they speak people don't listen to them. and why is that. How can we speak powerfully to make change in the world? What I'd like to suggest, there are a number of habits that we need to move away from. I've assembled for your pleasure here seven deadly sins of speaking. I'm not pretending this is an exahaustive list, but these seven, I think are pretty large habits that we can all fall into. First gossip- Speaking ill of somebody who's not present. Not a nice habit, and we know perfectly well the person gossiping, five minutes later, will be gossiping about us. second judging- We know people who are like this in conversation, and its very hard to listen to somebody if you know that you're being judged and found wanting at the sa

What Is Death? How Life Leaves The Body After Death by Sadguru (complete science of death).

'The Death' -Bitter Truth of Life.    By sadguru... What is doctors concept about life, they say we have one trillion cells in our body and each of these cells are living by it self. And when you say the patient is no more it's just the brain dies after 2 or 3 minutes but still large part of body is still alive and these cells even when after the patient is dead are alive. so, the question arises that 'what dies when we die' so that brings us a question where is this life in our body is it our brain our heart, what is the life we are talking about?  The religious beliefs have totally screwed up the human mind so badly that people cannot even know what is happening within themselves they know the 'geography of the heaven', and where is god sitting how many children he has when is his birthday every thing they know, how come they don't know where is their life isn't it ridiculous. If we are life so, how come we know so many things and

Why Do Stupid People Think They are Smart? The Dunning Kruger Effect.

Better Than Yesterday.                                                    One step at a time.  One day in 1995, a man robbed two pittsburgh banks in broad daylight. he didn't wear a mask or any sort of disguise. And he smiled at surveillance cameras before walking out of each bank. of course the police found the robber and later than night arrested him. Interestingly enogh, when the robber was handcuffed, he was puzzled and he mumbled "but i wore the juice". Apparently, this bank robber thought that smearing lemon juice on his face, would render him invisible to bank's security cameras.   And he didn't just think that, he was pretty confident about it. his rational was that since the chemical properties of lemon juice are used in invisible ink, it should render him invisible to the bank security cameras. This is obviously a completely dumb way of thinking. But whats intresting is that, even after the police showed him the footage of his robbe
